Originating in Sanskrit, Namaste is a compound word used as a greeting or farewell. Conceived in the collectivist Indian culture at least 4,000 years ago, it is used to signify bowing to another or recognizing that part in all of us that originates from the same source. It is now commonly associated with a posture, and practice-ending pose in Yoga. The essence of Namaste is a WCBB? ideal.
