A triathlon challenges one in many ways (endurance, skill, adaptability, etc...) and is considered by some to be the ultimate fitness challenge. There are several different distances including sprint, Olympic, Half-Ironman, and the supreme challenge, the Ironman (more than 140 miles in total distance). The diligence required to train, the mental toughness needed to persevere, and the physical challenge that takes place in nature all combine to reinforce some of the central ideas of WCBB? - namely those of being proactive and living life to the fullest. What Could Be Better?
